Dear Friends

On November 7th, Northern Virginians from across the 8th District came out in support of my new ideas for the new challenges facing our nation and impacting the lives all Americans. In my candidacy for Virginia's 8th District seat in Congress, I built my campaign on putting forth solutions to critical issues including Border Security, Energy Independence, and a new strategy for victory in Iraq.

With months of campaigning now behind us, we must now urge lawmakers, new and old, to put party politics aside and work for the good of our great nation. I, personally, remain committed to serving my community and continuing to create the ideas and advance the solutions our nation so direly needs.

We always knew it would be a tough race, and now that the ballots have been counted and the victors have been named, I look back on the hard-fought campaign we waged with pride. Without the tireless work and generous support of my family, friends, and supporters, none of this would have been possible.

I'd like to thank each and every person who voted for me, supported me, and championed me in my fight to serve Northern Virginia.
